§ 23-4. Aircraft—Minimum height.

  • (a)

    Except when taking off from or landing on an established landing field, airport or other property designated for that purpose by the owner, no person shall fly any aircraft in the city at a height less than the following:

    (1)

    Over any congested area of the city, not less than one thousand (1,000) feet.

    (2)

    Over any open-air assembly of people, not less than one thousand (1,000) feet.

    (3)

    Elsewhere, not less than five hundred (500) feet.

    (b)

    A violation of this section shall constitute a Class 1 misdemeanor.
