§ 20.01. Courts of record—City as part of second judicial circuit; circuit court generally.

The city shall continue to be in and a part of the second judicial circuit. The circuit court of Princess Anne County shall be known as the circuit court of the City of Virginia Beach and shall have the same jurisdiction in the City of Virginia Beach as is conferred by general law upon circuit courts of cities of the first class.
