§ 20.02. Same—Transfer of actions pending in county to circuit court of city; authority of circuit court of city with reference to actions so transferred.

All actions of every kind, criminal as well as civil, pending in the circuit court of the county on the effective date of this Charter shall automatically be transferred to, and shall proceed to final judgment in, the circuit court of the city. The circuit court of the city shall have full authority to issue writs, enforce judgments and decrees and exercise every manner of judicial function in relation to former actions in the circuit court of the county as though no change had been made in the status of the latter.
