§ 1.4. Subdivision.

  • The division of any parcel of land into two (2) or more lots or parcels for immediate or future transfer of ownership or building development. The term shall be construed to include all changes in lot lines, the creation of new lots involving any division of an existing lot or lots, or if a new street is involved in such division, any division of a parcel of land, and when appropriate to context, the process of subdividing or the territory subdivided. To expedite two (2) lot subdivisions, the subdivision shall only be reviewed by the department of planning, and where appropriate, the health department.
